Born in Terengganu in 1963, Mohd. Zaki Zakaria is a trained architect who gave up his profession to paint fulltime. He had participated in several art exhibitions since 1989.
Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad, Kuala Lumpur, was constructed to house the principal government departments. Its foundation stone was laid by Sir Charles Mitchell, the Governor of the Straits Settlements, in 1894.
